Fed Gun Grab: States Strike Back against the Empire

A number of states are battling back against the unconstitutional attempt to bypass the Second Amendment, as over the last several weeks Texas, Missouri,Wyoming, Tennessee and Alabama have introduced legislation which would void federal laws designed to ban some semi-automatic rifles and high-capacity magazines.

Not only that, but in the case of Texas, a bill introduced there would result in any government employee attempting to enforce federal gun laws to be charged with a misdemeanor.

In Missouri, in a largely symbolic move, State Rep. Mike Leara introduced a bill that would make it a Class D felony for any state legislator to even introduce a gun control bill.

Localities have been entering the gun control battle as well, with a number of them also approving of resolutions which say they will not enforce any federal laws connected with banning or limiting high-capacity magazines or any semi-automatic weapons.

States Fighting Back Against Feds over In-State Gun Manufacturers

States across the country are trying to protect gun ownership from the long arm of Washington by proposing bills declaring that firearms made and kept within their borders are not subject to federal restrictions.
